Artist Portfolios Terry Habeger I construct sculptural
clay forms, slab and wheel-thrown, and paint them with acrylics.
The wheel-thrown forms are often altered with clay slabs. The result
is a closed, hollow form that is fired and primed for paining. I
also paint with acrylics on 3D clay or masonite wall pieces as well
as on traditional 2surfaces of masonite and canvas. The compositions
on clay, board, and canvas are abstract geometric variations. I
like bold color and outlines with sharp contrasts in color and light
and dark.
