From I-235 take the 31st Street exit, just west of downtown, head south on 31st street one mile to stop light/Ingersoll. Take a left on Ingersoll, heading east half block to 2921. Gallery is on north side of Ingersoll.

Moberg Art Gallery (Des Moines, Iowa) represents over 50 regional and Iowa artists working in sculpture, painting, watercolors, light sculpture, printmaking, photography, environmental art installations and other fine arts. Des Moines’ Moberg Gallery hosts ten contemporary art exhibitions each year and also contributes Iowan modern art to other venues and art galleries.  In each of the last three years, a different Moberg artist was named Iowa Artist of the Year by Cityview magazine’s art critic, the only Iowa art medium that makes such a distinction regarding Iowa contemporary artists. 

Our Des Moines art gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday. We can also arrange appointments with our gallery artists. Artists represented by our art gallery have completed commissions in a dozen states from Hawaii to Florida; those include custom wall sculpture and free standing indoor and outdoor sculptures. Des Moines has watched those forms of the fine arts flourish and our galleries’ artists have contributed significantly to the changing landscape of the Midwest and beyond.
